Streptocarpus "Pretty Turtle"
Streptocarpus "Pretty Turtle"
Native to the eastern regions of South Africa, the Streptocarpus Pretty Turtle is a delightful flowering plant with eye catching foliage of green and silver patterning that resembles a turtle's shell.
Also known as the Cape Primrose or False African Violet, it boasts delicate flowers borne on long stems that rise above the foliage. The blooms are trumpet-shaped and come in shades of lavender with dark purple veins.
For best care, they enjoy bright indirect light, a little direct morning sun is ok too. Water once the top few inches are dry, and try not to get the leaves too wet - we like to bottom water them, just like an African violet.
Comes in a 12cm nursery pot.
