The cutest of all, this little Sweetheart Hoya is famous for its perfectly heart shaped thick green leaves, which are often sold as leaf cuttings in soil at Valentine’s Day. Unlike the singular leaf cuttings that will not grow into full plants, these vines will continue to give you love hearts all year round, and given the right conditions, will produce pretty clusters of light pink star shaped flowers.

To best care for them, keep them in a warm spot with lots of bright indirect light. Although perfectly fine in normal household conditions, they will thrive with humidity, so a humidifier or grouping plants together works wonders. Make sure to allow the soil to thoroughly dry out before watering.

Slow growing, patience is key. Don’t be alarmed if they shoot long stems with no leaves, the leaves will come later. Keep slightly root bound to encourage flowering.
