It’s the vividly contrasting striped leaves that make the Aphelandra squarrosa zebra plant a unique favourite amongst enthusiasts. Slow growing and compact, they generally mature to about 3 feet tall, making them a perfectly sized indoor plant.

For best care, keep in a warm spot with bright indirect light. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly damp. Misting to increase humidity will also be appreciated. With correct care and enough sunlight, you’ll be lucky enough to see bright yellow flowers (bracts) in the summer.
