Oxalis triangularis Purple Shamrock

Oxalis triangularis Purple Shamrock
The Oxalis triangularis, or Purple Shamrock, is a striking ornamental plant much loved for its vibrant, triangular-shaped leaves in shades of deep purple. These unique, butterfly-like leaves open and close in response to light, creating a dancing little display throughout the day. Delicate, pale pink or white flowers emerge above the foliage, adding an elegant contrast to the bold leaf color.
For best care, provide it with bright, indirect light and water once the soil is almost completely dried out. The plant prefers moderate indoor temperatures and benefits from a balanced liquid fertilizer applied once a month during its active growing season. It may enter a dormant phase, during which the foliage will die back. Don’t fret though, this is normal. Reduce watering during this period, and resume regular care once new growth appears.
Comes in a 12cm nursery pot. Pictured with the Samso planter - 14cm wine (sold separately).
