Say goodbye to those irritating little gnats with these sticky traps!

These are the solution to stopping this pest (and other flying insects) in their tracks.  Simply peel off the protective cover paper and insert directly into the soil of the affected plants.  The adults are attracted to the bright yellow colour, stick to the trap, and therefore prevented from laying further eggs in the soil.  Dispose of any full traps and replace when necessary. (They’re double sided, so we like to use one side at a time to get the most use out of them).

To stop the gnat cycle completely, we recommend stopping watering for as long as your plant can take, as gnats love to breed in damp soil. If watering is required, try the bottom watering method, making sure to keep the top 2 inches of soil bone dry. By limiting watering when using the traps, your problem should be solved within about 4 weeks, which is the life cycle of gnats.
